Citation serves two main purposes:

1. crediting the scholarship (and scholars!) that you're engaging with
2. creating a path for your readers to follow your process

You should include all information necessary to track down a resource, while following the rules of the specific citation style. If you're not sure which citation style to use, ask your professor.
