Find print scores and librettos by searching the Five College Library collections (see tips for searching below). The library also subscribes to databases of digital scores, listed below along with suggested online sites.
Books and scores not currently held in Five College libraries can be requested through the Library Request Service.

You can search across all of the Five Colleges, or narrow to only what's here at Amherst.
Keeping track of and searching by standardized subject terms may help you find scores for specific combinations of instruments. The names of the instruments are usually entered as subject terms in item records, such as "Operas -- Vocal scores with piano" in this record for The Magic Flute.
Note that e-resources are not able to be shared across colleges, though you can visit other Five College libraries to use these sources on site.

These are arranged by subject within each call number range. Browsing the book stacks may turn up relevant books you don't find in your catalog searches. Most scores are located at Morgan Music Library, while most music scholarship is located at Frost Library.
