This guide serves as an introduction to finding and using images, and to image citation and copyright concerns.
Working with images resources, whether digital or in print, has much in common with text-based research, but with some key differences. Use the tabs on the left to find recommended resources and starting points for your image research and questions.
For more information on image research and use in any subject area, contact a subject librarian.
Make a research appointment to meet individually with a Research & Instruction librarian. You can request your specific subject librarian—they're also shown in the Subject Librarian box of most guides. You can also email them directly, or email us at library@amherst.edu for general questions or libcirc@amherst.edu for questions about your account.
